HOUSE HUNTING
House hunting is a process of elimination. In our early discussions you talk about the home you are looking for, its size, location and amenities. Now comes the fun part where we actually go into the houses and I put you through a series of tests. I will show you a house that has what you have described as your "perfect backyard", your ideal kitchen or "a big bonus room for the kids." The rest of the house may or may not be what you have described. It's a test house. Just to see if your vision and mine are the same. It's important that you express what you like and dislike about a home as we go through this process. The clearer you are with your vision, the easier it is for me to find your next home. This process will also help you become familiar with home values in our area. Once I have a clear vision, I will preview the homes and eliminate the ones that I know you wouldn't consider. My goal is to find a house which immediately makes you feel at home. When a house "speaks to you" or reaches 80 percent of what you are looking for, it may be time to stop looking and move on to the next step.
