"WE HAVE AN OFFER"

Someone loves your house enough to want to live there. They are excited and hopeful and they have put into writing an offer which reflects their needs. Their agent may wish to present the offer to you. The buyer will not be present. We will meet with their agent and go over the offer. It's important to try to remain objective at this time. We have three options:

  1. Reject the offer,
  2. Counter the offer, or
  3. Accept the offer as written.

The buyer's agent will be excused and we will discuss the offer. We will look at all the aspects of the offer, how it fits your time line and answers your needs. I require the buyers to have a pre-approval letter from a lender. We need to make certain that if we accept this offer and remove your house from the market that it will close. There are a number of factors to consider, and it doesn't always come down to price.
